Jury president and Hollywood DOP Michael Ballhaus praised the playful lightness in Müller's direction, which lead to the credible
performance of his ensemble on screen. »The director knows about the simplicity that is so hard to be lived«, the 74-year-old said at the award ceremony in Schwerin Saturday night.
